Meet Our Founders: Doug & Lori Schumacher
Russellville has always been home for Doug and Lori. It’s where they raised their family, built small businesses, and now enjoy chasing after six energetic grandchildren. But their path to wellness—and ultimately to creating The Wellness Room—began with a deeply personal health struggle.
Doug and Lori founded The Wellness Room in 2022 after personally experiencing the life-changing benefits of IV vitamin therapy. Doug’s battle with Crohn’s disease and Lori’s autoimmune challenges led them on a search for better wellness solutions—solutions that ultimately restored energy, improved health, and inspired their mission.
Today, they are passionate about sharing therapies that have helped their own family, including IV Hydration, Red Light Therapy, Far Infrared Sauna, and Cryotherapy. When they aren’t at The Wellness Room, they’re loving life with their six grandchildren and connecting with the community they’ve always called home.

Katie Scheide
Katie has been a nurse since 2016. She began her nursing career doing home infusion therapy. She is a top notch nurse whisperer! She has been with us since we opened in February 2022. When she isn't stabbing and jabbing she and her husband Corey are loving on their dogs and everyone else's at R and R Kennels! Or spending time with family at the lake.

Amanda Weaver
Amanda has been a nurse since 2012. She has worked in the emergency room and labor and delivery. She has been with us since April 2022. Amanda is patient and kind and loves spending time with her hubby, Brandon, and chasing their two boys Eli and Matt! And making time to travel as a family.

Sierra Schumacher
Sierra has been a professional licensed Esthetician since 2023. She is a certified Face Reality acne expert, certified Skin Pen specialist, a certified CryoTherapist and a trained Yoga instructor. She is tender hearted yet passionate about helping you improve your skin. When she isn't studying your skin, she is actively reigning in her hubs Tyler, and her kiddos Kamryn and Harrison, two dogs and cat. And looking for an outdoor activity.

Nicole has been a registered nurse since 2024, before nursing she worked in healthcare for 15 years, first in dermatology as a medical assistant, then worked with seniors and individuals with disabilities. She has worked in ICU and home health. She has a passion for integrative medicine, focusing on the whole person and lifestyle choices. When she isn't working she and hubby Ben are managing their 4 children, April, Brooke, Connor and Grace and chasing around their dog and 2 cats. And finding time to go to the beach!

Sarah has been a personal fitness trainer for over 15 years. In 2023, she became a certified Cryotherapist and has helped our clients lose those hard to lose inches! When she isn't freezing your fat cells or helping with your pain, you can likely find her at the gym with her girls Savannah and Addison doing cheer and gymnastics. Or at the lake with hubs Josh and the rest of her crew!

When she isn't busy with her emergent patients, she helps us with a general medical review to ensure hydration therapy is right for you! You might run into Dr. Simmons at the local Emergency Room caring for patients. Dr. Simmons is a Board Certified emergency medicine physician and our medical director. He approves all of our medical protocols. Dr. Simmons enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their daughter. He is a nationally ranked disc golf player!
